FAQs
Do you have age restrictions?
Short answer-NO. HeartWell can take any and all ages, from 5 years old to 99+, however, generally speaking, there will be more progress seen from those old enough to understand their actions and behaviors and how their thoughts and feelings may impact their behaviors as well as impact those around them. The great thing about therapy is that it is tailored to each person's specific needs and goals, as well as developmental level of understanding. We are all about meeting people where they are in order to build on their strengths to reach their goals.

Do you accept insurance?
HeartWell currently does not accept insurance, however, we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for partial or full reimbursement. You will be responsible for paying HeartWell upfront at your session, and then you submit the superbill to your insurance company on your own. If you choose to seek reimbursement, a mental health diagnosis is required on the form for insurance companies. You should also contact your insurance company to inquire about out of network pricing, so you will know how much you might be reimbursed.
With this policy, we are not limited in session to what the insurance company wants, and you are not required to be diagnosed with a mental health diagnosis when you self-pay.
